Head of US Presales, Specialty Lines Software 

We are currently working with a global solution provider who are growing their presence in both the UK Lloyds and US Specialty Insurance markets.  They have been investing heavily in R&D and Product Strategy and have a portfolio of market leading solutions and services to offer to both the UK and US markets.

Due to this continued investment, they are looking to strengthen their US presence with the appointment of a US Head of Presales.   

This is an exciting opportunity for someone US East Coast based to head up and grow the Presales division of globally backed new entrant to the US Specialty Lines software market.   

You will work closely with the Global Head of Sales and the US Head of Sales and your responsibilities will include: 

Management of Pre-sales Activity

  • Offer full pre-sales support across the US and Caribbean
  • Manage the provision of in depth product demonstrations on site, via the Web and internationally as required
  • Assist the Business Development team to present the company and product at the highest level
  • Own, co-ordinate input and respond to RFI’ s and RFP’s and present the company and solution to both customers and prospects
  • Act as solutions lead for inbound ITT, RFP and RFI’s
  • To become a business expert in key areas of product functionality for SBS
  • To specialise in those areas of industry practice relevant to SBS software and services

Demonstration Creation & Maintenance

  • Feeding Sales Team with product, market and customer knowledge and understanding where previously used solutions could assist.
  • Build demo packs and distribute to the regional hubs in relation to the relevant products
  • Assist in configuring products and claims data capture and workflows for prospect demonstrations

Proposition Creation & Development

  • To be familiar with all areas of product functionality and future development plans
  • Assist the Sales Team in improving, updating and advising on product enhancements and changes
  • Work with Product Manager, and Product Specialist and Sales to review the core, development, design specifications and function and add value
  • Help Identify potential beta clients in the sales phase who may be willing to co-develop solutions
  • Third Party Relationships
  • To liaise with SBS’s business partners to provide bolt on/integrated third party solutions for customers/prospects
  • To identify third party solutions/services that can integrate with SBS’s applications to add value to the business proposition
  • To provide the link between customers, developers and any third party regarding software the development / delivery life cycle
