About the role

Reporting to the Head of P&C Sales (US), you will play a vital role in developing the US business in your allocated markets. You will nurture key relationships to help broaden their presence across the US insurance market and be responsible for creating sales strategies, tactics and action plans.

  • Deliver on fee-based income targets as per the annual 3-year rolling business plan
  • Drive a structured sales pipeline of opportunities across the market from planning to onboarding and execution.
  • Lead cross-functional deal teams to execute sales opportunities in our pipeline successfully.
  • Lead client engagement on sales opportunities, including developing and delivering World Class pitch materials, developing, communicating, and negotiating commercial terms and pro-actively managing sales obstacles.
  • Ensure we apply Sales discipline to all pipeline opportunities delivering on relevant KPI's and we adhere to all distribution compliance and governance requirements.
  • Work with marketing and Solutions Product Development colleagues to develop and execute Marketing strategies to promote our Solutions and improve Client outreach and engagement.
  • Provide input on client needs and recommend Product improvements with maximum commercial up-side for our Product roadmaps.
  • Build new client and non-insurance segment relationships to expand the reach of the Solutions franchise.
  • Ensure a collaborative approach across the reinsurance client base.
  • Foster a collaborative working relationship across all functions and relevant regional and global teams.

Candidate Profile

You will have the following:

  • A proven track record of successfully growing revenues selling software to insurance entities in the US market
  • An understanding of the requirements and issues facing P&C Insurers from a software perspective
  • A strong reputation in the market and the gravitas to deal with negotiations at an executive level
  • The ability to produce high-quality material presentations and present these to clients
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills to present a potential project to a client
  • Significant experience leading complex major bids or proposals and strong deal-closing skills
