Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on London Market insurance, including open market, delegated authority, and reinsurance.
- Lead requirements definition and design, ensuring compliance with project standards and best practices.
- Facilitate elaboration sessions to capture comprehensive business needs beyond core insurance systems, covering data, reporting, analytics, forms, and integrations.
- Define complex business requirements and align them with software solutions to meet strategic objectives.
- Apply robust product knowledge to advise clients on best practices during the implementation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are well understood and integrated effectively.
- Provide strategic guidance to customers, helping them leverage technology to achieve their business goals.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Actively contribute as a London Market SME in industry events and client engagements.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, with at least 5 years in IT/software implementation within the London Market, Lloyd’s, or Company markets.
- Proven expertise in delegated authority systems, coverholder reporting, and data standardization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to manage requirements, functional specifications, and user acceptance testing within software implementation projects.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, object-oriented design principles, and database management.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing decisions and driving alignment.
- Experience applying change management concepts to technology projects.
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to facilitate discussions with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Leadership capabilities with a track record of mentoring and guiding project teams.
