We are working for a leading InsurTech, which has a market-changing solution for the London & Global Insurance Market. They have developed a niche cloud-based broking platform and have a pipeline of current and new projects to deliver to Brokers across the London Market, UK and broader European Markets. They are looking to strengthen their UK Delivery Team by adding several Senior Project Managers. Reporting directly to the Head of Delivery, you will be responsible for complex client implementations from solution design to a successful go-live.

KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

A great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with Insurance Software experience to lead a team on all aspects of projects with responsibility for the deliverables required at each stage of the project life cycle. (e.g. Customer Proposals, GAP analysis, Requirements Definition, and Internal and External Design, Development & Deployment of the solution, Risk/Issue management & Financial Controls on the project).

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Ownership of an allocated project with full responsibility for delivering to the parameters outlined in the PID / SOW
  • Responsible for controlled escalations to senior management both internally and externally when appropriate
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively
  • Responsible for planning and resourcing the project including building and leading a team of resources with the right capabilities to meet the project deliverables
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a detailed project plan including dependencies, resourcing, controls and milestones.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to delivery methodology and governance structures 
  • Responsible for defining the project P&L including joint formal sign off
  • Responsible for leading and developing the team by setting objectives, agreeing project priorities, timescales and allocation of work  
  • Management of the Client and key stakeholders in terms of expectations, agreed scope, timescales, project costs, project invoicing, project resource management
  • Management of Relationships & resources with other internal departments such as Product Development, Accounts, Sales and Support / Infrastructure
  • For appropriately sized projects work closely with the Head of Delivery to ensure that they are updated on project status, risks and issues.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experienced PM with a proven track record of delivering projects
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
  • Insurance Market / Insurance Software implementation experience
  • Experience in client relationship management
  • Experience in P&L generation and management
