About the Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Manager to evolve and enhance their consulting offerings. This leadership position within the Americas consulting team involves managing client delivery, overseeing direct and indirect reports, and refining the overall consulting value proposition. The role requires interaction with some of the largest global insurance carriers, regional insurers, MGAs, and public sector organizations across the Americas. The ideal candidate will possess a client-centric and commercially minded approach to driving the success of the consulting division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery of consulting engagements to clients.
  • Building and managing multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure effective delivery.
  • Overseeing discovery, scoping, project management, analysis, and synthesizing results, as well as communicating findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Acting as a domain expert and primary contact for Property and Casualty consulting.
  • Defining and evolving the P&C consulting proposition and developing new value propositions aligned with client needs and market opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with the Sales team to support client research and discovery, as well as the origination and sale of new client engagements.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to develop new capabilities and data assets.

About the Team

The team is a central pillar of the client's reinsurance strategy, essential for both core activity development and the creation of new revenue streams. The Risk Consulting & Analytics team delivers consulting services globally, offering data-driven insights and advice throughout the insurance value chain. The team's focus includes profitable growth, product development, pricing, underwriting, risk scoring and selection, and claims. They leverage extensive industry expertise, a wealth of data, and advanced analytics capabilities to provide valuable insights.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, a business mindset, a proactive attitude, and the ability to assimilate complex information. This role is perfect for someone passionate about a dynamic, high-impact client-facing position.

Essentials:

  • 10-15 years of consulting experience with a proven track record in delivering client engagements.
  • Experience managing teams and leading cross-functional/multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of the primary insurance market for Property and Casualty lines of business, with experience at an insurer, broker, consulting firm, or analytics company.
  • Ability to interpret complex analyses and present actionable insights through impactful storytelling.
  • Proven ability to interact and communicate with senior management and diverse client stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in consultative sales or supporting consultative selling.
  • Expertise in primary insurance Property & Casualty underwriting, pricing/actuarial methods, or claims.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools, programming languages, and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, MS PowerBI).
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
